These are the pieces that I produced from a life drawing class. Some pieces are quick exercises whilst others were worked on for 15-20 minutes. It helped to give me ideas for other pieces and I was introduced to working with charcoal dust.

Quick 3 line drawings to capture the movement of the model. There are some ideas within these pieces which I would like to develop due to the movement of the lines.

This was a 10-15 minute charcoal drawing, we picked a point above the models head to start drawing from each time. Starting at the top of the paper meant that I had to think about the directions of my lines and how I would make the body three-dimensional.

Again these smaller pieces were quick exercises as to introduce us to using charcoal dust. The dust that we used contained coloured chalk pastels as well as charcoal which helped to give my pieces more depth. I especially enjoyed creating the smaller motif pieces and have since started to develop them into other pieces.
