Collage

         

This was an experimental piece to look at the use of collage as a medium for future projects.I worked from my own photography in which I had drawn on shapes in place of the shadows and highlights, I then used this as the shapes for the collage. Whilst I enjoyed this method of focusing on the shadows and highlights, I don't think that I used dark enough pieces for some of the shadows. The main thing I have taken from this experimental piece is the method of sectioning of the photo into shapes in terms of the shadows and the highlights. I may further explore this concept with different mediums in the future.
